GENERAL  SPECIFICATIONS OF CONSTRUCTION

 

         1.   MAIN STRUCTURE & ROOF:

The main structure is reinforced concrete in accordance with  the Cypriot anti-seismic code

 

         2.  INSULATION:

A damp proof  course is fitted  under  all ground  walls  floor  slab  will be insulated  with a  50mm polystyrene  sheet  laid  on damp proof  membrane.

         3.  WALLS:

All walls are class  “A” hollow clay brick 10x20x30cm

-Interior walls are 10cm thick

-Exterior walls are 20cm thick

 

         4.  PLASTERING AND PAINTWORK:

All external walls are covered with two coats of plaster render and finished off  with a coat of  spatula on both sides of the wall.

All internal partition walls are covered with 2 coats of  plaster  render  and  finished  off with a coat  of  spatula.

All corners  are protected  with concealed  galvanized angel  beads.

Fair face  concrete ceilings are  brought  to a smooth  finish  with 2 coats of spatula and 3 layers of emulsion paint.

All internal  plastering  is painted  with  3  coats  of quality emulsion  paint.
